Central Government

AshtonPenney Interim understand the pressures for change within Central Government and its Agencies placed on it by the Gershon review and the subsequent recommendations of Releasing Resources to the Front Line. Many departments are recognising that, in many instances, interim management provides a more cost-effective resource for managing change than traditional management consultancy. To put it bluntly, margins are lower - and interims are in place to implement, rather than recommend, new ways of working.

AshtonPenney Interim has a long track record of providing interim management resources to government bodies. While many of our interims have extensive experience in the public sector, the commercial experience of senior executives from the private sector can add real value to the teams they work with.

Several of the AshtonPenney Interim team have strong experience of working with Central Government. Drawing on our huge resource of interim executive talent, we are able to interview and present two or three first rate candidates for any position within a matter of days. We aim to be close to our clients - both geographically and in our understanding of their culture and requirements
