James Wheeler

James is one of the industry’s most experienced executive recruitment professionals with a particular focus on financial management, starting in 1975 including nearly 8 years with Coopers & Lybrand and 15 years at Hewitson-Walker Group where he was CEO from 1991 to 1999.

He joined AshtonPenney Interim in 2002. His clients include the portfolio businesses of private equity investors and hedge funds as well as lending institutions and those involved in turnarounds and restructuring situations.

James leads the UK side of the Alpha AshtonPenney Interim Group and is responsible for AshtonPenney’s international practice including its relationships with its key affiliates in the Senior Management International group of firms.
