Pieter Kraan

Pieter heads the Private Equity & Investor Services Practice of Alpha AshtonPenney Interim Group in Germany.

After studying business administration at the University of Hamburg, he held senior international management positions with C. Illies & Co. and the SGS Group. He gained 8 years’ investment management experience as managing director of INDUS GmbH, a portfolio holding company of the TÜV-Group, involved in new technology and internationalization investments in Europe, USA, Asia, Middle East and South America. During this time he was responsible for the strategic and operational management of 30 portfolio companies worldwide, including M & A, turnaround, performance improvement, trade sale and IPO projects.

As management skills have always been a key to investment success, Pieter is committed to providing hands-on, professional advice backed with his own experience, in the process of identifying management talent for the portfolio businesses of private equity clients.
